Welcome to TalkCampus Counselling Referral Services! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the counselling referral services provided by TalkLife Ltd. By accessing or using our referral services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services Provided

TalkCampus facilitates the referral of authorised users to third-party licensed counsellors for professional counselling services. To access these services, you must be referred by your institution, which has a subscription with us. This referral is at the discretion of your institution and we do not have control over it.

 

User Obligations

You agree to use TalkCampus Counselling Referral Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, provide accurate information and respect the privacy and rights of others.  

 

Not for Emergency Use

​

Our counselling services are not intended for use in emergency or crisis situations. If you are in immediate danger or require urgent assistance, please contact emergency services.

 

Provision of Details to Third-Party Providers

​

TalkCampus facilitates connections with third-party counselling service providers. By submitting your request, you consent to this data sharing and for the third-party counsellor service provider to reach out to you. The third-party provider will provide their terms of service and privacy policies directly to you for acceptance before you access counselling. You acknowledge and agree that TalkLife disclaims any liability for the services provided by these third-party counsellors. Any concerns or issues with the counselling services should be directed to the third-party provider.

 

While we will make reasonable efforts to connect you with a counsellor who meets your needs, we cannot guarantee that they will be the right match for you. You accept that TalkLife does not guarantee specific outcomes from these services. The effectiveness of counselling and support can vary based on individual circumstances.

 

Limited Liability; Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that your use of our services is at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither TalkLife nor its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors or affiliates will be liable to any user of our site or our app or any other person or entity for any:

(a)        indirect, special, incidental, punitive, consequential or exemplary damages;

(b)        loss of profits;

(c)        loss of data; or

(d)        loss of use,

in each case, arising out of the use or inability to use our services, even if TalkLife has been advised of the possibility of such damages, except where liability cannot be excluded in accordance with applicable law.
 

For any direct losses you or any other person may suffer in connection with your use or inability to use our services our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law to £100.
 

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TalkLife disclaims any implied warranties of fitness for any particular purpose regarding our services.
